Because induction heats the pan itself, the full 5 kW goes into the food rather than into the room, and the surrounding ceramic glass stays cool enough to wipe down at the end of service. A combined touch and knob panel gives ten power levels, from a slow hold through to a hard boil, and the stainless steel housing stands up to daily washdown.
