The PFD/3500N is a single-zone countertop induction plate rated 3.5 kW. Induction heats the pan itself rather than the plate beneath it, so power changes take effect immediately and the glass-ceramic surface stays cool enough to wipe down between covers.

The zone works with pan bases from 140 to 220 mm across, which covers saute and sauce pans but not a wide stockpot. Output can be set either as a power level or as a target temperature, and a digital timer holds a setting for a fixed period.

At 3.5 kW on a 230 V single-phase supply the plate draws about 15 A, so it needs its own socket circuit rather than sharing a bench spur. The stainless casing measures 343 by 440 mm and weighs 8 kg.
