The OEM Sheffield DZ300 is a chamber vacuum packing machine for butchery, fish, cooked-food and retail pack-down work. The product goes into a bag, the bag goes into the chamber, and the machine draws the air out and heat-seals the bag in one cycle.

The chamber measures 390 × 320 × 60 mm, and that 60 mm depth is the figure that decides what will actually fit: it suits flat packs — steaks, fillets, sliced meats, cheese — rather than bulky whole joints. A single 300 mm sealing bar runs across the chamber, so bags up to 300 mm wide can be sealed.

The vacuum pump displaces 8.0 m³/h, the machine draws 0.18 kW with a further 150 W for heat sealing, and the vacuum case and hull are stainless steel 304 — the food-contact grade. The unit measures 475 × 365 × 360 mm and sits on a bench.
