The ST is the tank version of the Classe 5 S. It fills from a built-in 2 litre pour-over reservoir and runs a vibrating pump, so it needs no plumbed supply and no drain connection - it can be set up anywhere there is a socket.

That makes it the one to specify for a conference room, a small office, a pop-up counter or any site where running a mains feed is impractical. The trade-off against the plumbed 1GR is refilling by hand instead of programming volumetric doses; the shell, the 4 litre boiler and the commercial brass group are otherwise identical.
