Featuring 64 mm Thermosteel flat steel burrs, programmable dosing, digital controls, and a cooling system to preserve coffee aroma, it delivers freshly ground coffee directly into the portafilter for superior espresso quality.
OD means on demand: there is no doser chamber, and the grinder delivers a programmed dose straight into the portafilter each time it is triggered. Coffee is ground to order, so none of it sits oxidising in a chamber between drinks.
The display and programmable dose buttons let single and double doses be set once and then repeated exactly, which is what keeps extraction consistent between staff. It is both shallower and lighter than the doser-fed ST - 356 mm deep and 11.5 kg against 385 mm and 13 kg.
