The Empero EMP.MED.S.24-1/3 is a 24-tray hot and cold meal distribution trolley for hospitals, hotels and large institutional catering that plate and deliver patient or guest meals with hot and cold components held on the same tray at their correct temperatures.

Each tray carries hot food in the heated compartment (adjustable +50 to +100°C) and cold food in the chilled compartment (0 to +6°C) at the same time, across 24 GN 1/3 trays. Four cycle programs let staff set temperature and timing for a service run, and an on-board screen shows battery, date, and the trolley's assigned ward or department.

For hospital meal-tracking, the trolley logs data to MED-SOFT software - over USB stick, cable or Wi-Fi (IP-65 protected ports) - with an internal battery collecting data while unplugged and a year of on-board memory.
